It is from the stars, the moon, and the sun that gender archetypes are born. While masculine qualities are attributed to the sun, feminine qualities are linked to the moon. The sun represents the beginning of the day, light, rationality, power, and strength; the moon embodies seduction, mystery, and darkness. In our attempt to understand existence, we create dualities that oppose, intertwine, and ultimately merge. Yet, unity remains invisible to our eyes. This mural, spread across the beautiful fields of Quiriri, seeks to represent this blending of day and night, sunset and twilight.

At sunset, night follows day; at twilight, day follows night. Like life itself, these dualities succeed one another in a constant, infinite cycle.
